Travel to Bundaberg

The fun never stops in Bundy

You might already be good mates with Bundaberg, or Bundy as we like to call it, for its sugar cane and world-famous rum. But this Queensland gem has heaps more to offer. Visit Mons Repos Regional Park between November and March and, get this…you can actually catch a glimpse of green, flatback and loggerhead turtles nesting, hatching and stepping out into the ocean! Yes…wow. As the southernmost gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, you can even take a day trip to Lady Musgrave Island, the perfect place to try snorkelling, whale watching or swimming with turtles.

Queensland beaches don’t get much better than the unspoilt sands of Agnes Waters and 1770. The surf’s always up on this coastline. Hire a board and you’re good to go. New to catching waves? No worries - take a surfing lesson from one of the friendly locals.
