A whopping 74 islands make up the Whitsundays Coast. And every single one of them is a straight-up stunner. A paradise of white stands and crystal-clear waters stretching across the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, it’s a postcard-perfect playground that you can dive right into.

Grab a snorkel and get familiar with the locals, whilst learning a thing or two about the hard yards being put in to conserving the reef. Hop from island to island and see for yourself what makes them special. Or just test out a bunch of different swim-up bars - it’s important research, yeah?

You might take an overnight cruise from Airlie Beach and stock up on fresh local seafood, or see why the sand of Whitehaven beach is as close as the coast will ever get to snow. And when it’s time to head for dry land, the Bicentennial Boardwalks make for a cruisy stroll. But you can always mountain bike through Conway National park if you wanna keep the action going.
